Intro to the
Divine Feminine
Online Mini Art & Soul Class

Venus-title.jpg

For Mystics, Shamans & Dreamers, this online class is an informative introduction to the hidden mystery streams found cross-culturally regarding the Divine Feminine. Included sacred iconography, shamanic dream bodies, journaling.

Bonus lesson is a mixed media art class, where we will create our own Botticelli's Venus, one of the most beautiful women in the world of art.

The Birth of Venus is such a metaphor for women awakening to discovering and exploring their Divine Feminine.

the Divine Feminine

“Within every woman there is a wild and natural creature, a powerful force, filled with good instincts, passionate creativity, and ageless knowing. Her name is Wild Woman, but she is an endangered species. Though the gifts of wildish nature come to us at birth, society's attempt to "civilize" us into rigid roles has plundered this treasure, and muffled the deep, life-giving messages of our own souls. Without Wild Woman, we become over-domesticated, fearful, uncreative, trapped. -Clarrissa Pinkola Estes

There will be video on the Divine Feminine and/or a podcast introducing this topic from the standpoint of contemporary definitions of "spirituality" and how sacred artists - shamans and the mystery wisdom traditions, more hidden although in plain sight - define this artistic practice. This kind of dialogue broadens our horizons and world view, and hopefully ignites interest in pursuing this theme more in depth.
