UpCycling Thrift Store Dolls - Change the World

here is something I do over the years- recycle a thrown away doll. I can't stand to see dolls in thrift stores, or at garage sales etc. I am choosy however. This was in good shape w/no hair (why do kids always cut off hair? I never did) I added paint for face/body, yarn hair, a beautiful crystal heart, collage, beads and put rub on type on her arms etc. on her throat "truth" and body I wrote "strength" and "will" on her legs. so she was "reborn." I learned over the years, that when we dismantle something, like a doll in art and put it back together in (healing) new ways we have changed the world for the better, just a little bit.
